Hunters' Talk

Just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you what a great time we had this past weekend. Both my son and my dad got their personal best deer to date. We saw a lot of deer and had the best hunt ever. My wife now says she may want to kill a deer next year. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed your hospitality and spending time at your ranch.

I fully enjoyed the entire trip. The hunting was great and we all saw more turkey than expected. The bunkhouse was very comfortable and well stocked. The food was great. All of the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great hunt.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great dove hunt over the weekend. That is at the top of any dove hunt I've ever been on. The young boy that I brought, Ben, for him this was his first dove hunt. I told him he is ruined. Real professional, good group of people and superb bunkhouse. Also we had a good time on the tour of your high fence ranch. I'm sure that we will all come back.

Thank you for the great dove hunt on your ranch this last weekend. The hunting was definitely one of the best hunts that I have been on in quite sometime. Thanks also for the shoulder bruises from shooting dove and the extra five pounds that I put on from eating all the good food that was prepared.
Kyle and I could not stop talking about all the fun that we had, and couldn't get over how well everyone got along, it's great to go hunting with good folks and not have one bad apple in the bunch. That's worth its weight in gold in my book! Anyway, thanks again and look forward to getting together again.

My hunting experience at Bear Branch was great. I had the opportunity to hunt there for both Whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkey. The bunkhouse is outstanding and the meals were wonderful. The hosts are some of the nicest people I have ever been associated with. The experience of just being on this ranch is wonderful. I highly recommend hunting with Bear Branch Ranch.

The weather had taken a turn for the worse prior to our arrival. The area's annual rainfall had fallen in the past week which brought all the ground's foliage back to life, providing plenty of food for the deer to eat. My friends were all successful the first day which left me bringing up the rear, but thanks to the perseverance and keen eye of our guide we were victorious the following day, having stalked a group of deer for 500 yards. That hunting experience was by far the most exciting of my life. A special thanks to Trey Bonner, Jeff Harris, and Bear Branch Ranch.
